Getting Started

Step 1

Step 1 - Setting up your site

If you haven't determined the following, PCICMS experts will help guide you. If you already have your site set up skip to step 2 above.

  1. Domain Name- we will consult with you on choosing a domain name and register and manage it for you. 
  2. Hosting- we will consult with you to determine all the features you need to include with your hosting.

Step 2

Step 2 - Producing your site

Determine your wish -list of features for your CMS site. We will consult with you to determine how best to accomplish the layout and functionality of your list. Some things to consider include:
1. What pages do you want on your site. Home, Services/ Products, location, hours, contact, etc.
2. What Dynamic  features do you want your website to do?
  • Subscriptions
  • Polls
  • Blogs
  • Event registration
  • E-learning
  • Interactive maps, and, of course,
  • Ecommerce.
3. What is the purpose of this site, what are you goals, what do you expect to happen?
4. Do you like any of our customizable designs in our design portfolio, or would you like a completely custom look?
5. Do you have information/images to fill the site with, or would you like us to help you write content and find images/ graphics.

Step 3

Step 3 - Launch and Maintain your site.

PCICMS will complete your website launch by finalizing connectivity to your PCICMS hosting. Assuring all features are working properly.
 
We will also be available for maintaining your site or you can use our optional training videos available to your site to learn about how to use and maintain your site.
